The 12 Step Carpet Cleaning Process • Step 1: Pre-Inspection I will walk do a walkthrough of your carpets to identify problems and permanent damage or how good your carpet looks. This is done to get a realistic expectation of the cleaning results • Step 2: Commercial Pre-vacuum Dry soil is thoroughly removed by commercial-powered vacuuming. Removing dry soil is one of the most vital and crucial steps in any cleaning process. We may also use the vacuum power of the carpet cleaning machine to vacuum before steam cleaning • Step 3: Furniture Moving Our premium pricing includes moving small furniture, chairs, tables and smaller items. Beds, dressers, and heavier pieces cost extra to move. We can decide if moving larger furniture is something you want to do. • Step 4: Pre-spray A pre-conditioning or degreaser agent is applied to emulsify and break down traffic area soil and general spots for a more thorough cleaning. • Step 5: Pre-spot Difficult spots are pre-treated with special solutions to increase chances of removal. • Step 6: Pre-grooming A professional carpet rake is used to groom the carpet or rotary brush is used to further loosen the soil. • Step 7: Soil Extraction and Rinse The carpet is then thoroughly rinsed using a powerful steam cleaning extraction cleaning system without over wetting the carpet or leaving a sticky residue behind. • Step 8: Neutralizer Neutralizer is used for pH balancing so that there is no sticky residue left behind or discoloration. This also leaves your carpet soft and fresh. • Step 9: Post Spot We go through the carpet and look for any remaining spots and treat them with a specialty spot and stain removal for maximum improvement. *For longer carpet life and fewer permanent stains, be sure to have professional carpet protector such as scotchgard ™ applied to your carpet. • Step 10: Post Groom Your carpet is groomed with a professional groomer so that the pile of your carpet is standing tall when we leave. Post grooming allows better air circulation between the fibers to help the carpet pile dry faster. • Step 11: Speed Dry High velocity air movers or a post dry stroke with the turbo drying machine is used on the carpet immediately after cleaning to promote faster drying. • Step 12: Post Cleaning Inspection At the end of cleaning we go over the carpet and look for more stains and we ask you to also look over the carpet to assure that you are happy with the cleaning. Any areas that need attention are cleaned or spot treated.
